Tricyclic antidepressant with potent H1-blocking activity; used in dermatology for severe pruritus and refractory chronic urticaria.
Usage Instructions
Start at 10–25mg at bedtime; titrate as advised by the dermatologist.
Precautions
Prescription only. Causes drowsiness — caution while driving. Do not stop abruptly.
